The Senior P&C Producer Assistant works as a member of the Sales team to assist Producers with completing and monitoring new business submissions to insurance carriers and to assist Producers with marketing GuideStone P&C insurance products to ministry prospects to ensure the growth of the agency’s book of business.

 

What you will do:

  • Coordinate with Producers to generate, submit and monitor new business quote applications to Property and Casualty Commercial Lines carriers to help grow GuideStone’s book of business using various quoting methods.

  • Communicate with underwriters regularly to request quotes and answer questions or requests.

  • Support Producers as necessary in effectively using Microsoft Dynamics to market to prospects in assigned territories.

  • Coordinate with the Sales Support team to create a formal proposal to provide to prospects.

  • Proactively seek ways to assist in providing process/systems improvements.

  • Create and update the documentation of processes and procedures when necessary.

  • Assist Producers and Sales Support Team as needed.

  • Travel is not more than 5-10%.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Active Property and Casualty license and the ability to be licensed in additional states preferred

  • Thorough and comprehensive knowledge of P&C Commercial Insurance

  • Proficient with Admitted, Excess, and Surplus Lines Insurance

  • Experience working with ACORD Forms and Applied Epic or other Agency Management software preferred

  • Ability to be organized and establish priorities for multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member on tasks as needed

  • Proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn required GuideStone applications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
