As the Senior Talent Development Coordinator, you’ll lead the planning and execution of onboarding, training, and engagement events that bring our culture to life. From Day 1 experiences to milestone celebrations, you’ll ensure every detail is thoughtfully managed and every interaction reflects our values. You’ll also support enterprise-wide learning initiatives and help maintain the tools and resources that empower our teams to grow.

 

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the first-year onboarding experience, including pre-arrival, Day 1, and milestone events.

  • Track enrollment, participation, and outcomes of onboarding programs, using data to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.

  • Plan and execute culture and engagement events that foster connection and community, such as service projects and employee gatherings.

  • Handle end-to-end logistics for events and programs, including scheduling, communications, catering, materials, and space reservations.

  • Monitor engagement program success through surveys, participation metrics, and impact reporting.

  • Oversee training and development activities in Workday LMS, ensuring accurate enrollment and participation tracking.

  • Support execution of enterprise-wide learning initiatives, including leadership development and compliance training.

  • Collaborate on the design and creation of training materials such as presentations, job aids, and promotional content.

  • Maintain department resources and supplies, ensuring efficient inventory management and adherence to procurement processes.

  • Stay current on trends in talent development and engagement, continuously enhancing program quality and relevance.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant, progressive work experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Proficient MS Office and Workday HRIS System experience preferred and/or ability to learn it quickly.

  • Strong event planning and project management skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable.

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, or rapidly changing environments.

  • Excels at creating order out of chaos, establishing systems and processes to drive clarity and results.

  • Effectively brings structure and clarity to complex, dynamic, or undefined situations.

  • Manages competing priorities and shifting demands with composure and strategic focus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proactive, driven, takes initiative.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters and handle sensitive information with discretion.
